There is always a need for volunteers to perform a variety of tasks:
- Monday through Friday
- mornings
- afternoons
- early evenings
Areas in which your stills and talents could be most valuable are:
- Organizing/Planning
- Committee Work
- Fund raising
- Special Projects
- Typing
- Answering Phones
- Receptionist/Filing
- Computer/Data Entry
- Art/Graphics
- Writing/Editing
- Light Housekeeping
Contributions
Books are always a welcome gift, especially children’s story books, kindergarten through high school level, fiction and non-fiction.

Tutors
Individuals interested in becoming a tutor must:
- have a Bachelor Degree
- able to complete a 45-hour training seminar
- participate in a 100-hour supervised practicum (tutoring under observation/evaluation)
- complete required readings with book summary
