There is always a need for volunteers to perform a variety of tasks:

• Monday through Friday
• mornings
• afternoons
• early evenings

Areas in which your stills and talents could be most valuable are:

• Organizing/Planning
• Committee Work
• Fund raising
• Special Projects
• Typing
• Answering Phones
• Receptionist/Filing
• Computer/Data Entry
• Art/Graphics
• Writing/Editing
• Light Housekeeping

Contributions

Books are always a welcome gift, especially children’s story books, kindergarten through high school level, fiction and non-fiction.

Tutors

Individuals interested in becoming a tutor must:

• have a Bachelor Degree
• able to complete a 45-hour training seminar
• participate in a 100-hour supervised practicum (tutoring under observation/evaluation)
• complete required readings with book summary
