Scottish Rite Valley Of Canton Honors Our Veterans And Celebrates Scottish Rite

In honor of Veterans Day the guest speaker at a dinner Saturday evening at 5:30 PM will be Colonel Donald E. Ballard of the Kansas National Guard and former member of the United States Navy, when serving as a Hospital Corpsman during the Vietnam War. He is a recipient of the Medal of Honor. Colonel Ballard is one of two navy corpsmen still alive that received the Medal of Honor.

Scottish Rite Day – When all the Scottish Rite Valleys from both the Northern and Southern Jurisdictions are coming together to celebrate the Scottish Rite. It is the first time the Fraternity has held such a nationwide day of honor.

The dinner is by prepaid reservation only. (Cost: $15.00/person or $25.00 per couple)

Proceeds going to the Forgotten Veterans Program

Prior to the dinner, there will be a free program open to the public from 4:00 to 5:00 PM featuring the Hall of Fame Chorus.
